Feedback from Companies goes a LONG Way!
I applied to a data-related role that was paying relatively less but giving equity, and personally, I’m a sucker for startups that give shares 😅 the amount of effort and work I put in gets multiplied by 100!
I applied and got an interview within two days. I had a great talk with Collin Longmire, understood his vision, and loved the idea! We had a nice chat, and he said he’d let me know but the end of the week.
I messaged him a few days after the week and asked for any feedback he might have, and he sent me a detailed message which I attached below.
This text made my day and also my week! Getting this information from a recruiter is one of the best things for someone applying. I got to know my pros and cons, maybe better than I understood myself for a specific role.
I would request everyone recruiting to take some time and send feedback to the people applying, it might take 5 minutes, but it is a HUGE help for the people applying and wayyy better than being ghosted, which, sadly, most recruiters do.
